About the role

Standard Job Description

Supports development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items. Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories, and concepts to drive innovation.
  • Contributes to the development of new principles and theories.
  • Solves unusually complex technical problems with highly ingenious and innovative solutions.
  • Works under consultative direction toward long-range goals with self-initiated assignments.
  • Determines and pursues necessary courses of action independently to achieve desired results.
  • Work is validated through consultation and agreement rather than formal management review.
  • Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their evolution into final products.
  • Serves as a spokesperson and advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research and applications.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelors degree or 8 years equivalent experience. 
  • F-35 Program experience.
  • Quality Experience
  • Team lead or leader experience
  • Lean Six Sigma green or black belt.
  • Familiar with PCAMS, iCARs, and CARs and how to work them to completion.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
