About the role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and disassembly and competent with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hand drill etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, quality control / inspection plans, and product specifications
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, extruding, welding, additive manufacturing, surface treatment, etc.
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling and design software such as Solidworks
- Experience in using bench tools (oscilloscope, power analyzer, logic analyzer, multimer, etc.)
- Experience in using basic metrology equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, other mechanical gauges)
- Experience in root-causing product failures, 8D reporting, as well as developing corrective, and preventative actions recommendations
