Receptionist

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Receptionist for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own the front desk, calls and enquiries for a UK team.

Role overview

You will be the first point of contact for a UK business, answering calls, welcoming enquiries and keeping the front office running smoothly from home. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct calls and messages
• Respond to general enquiries by email and chat
• Manage diaries and book appointments
• Handle post, deliveries and visitor logs with the team
• Keep contact records up to date

What you'll need

• Experience as a receptionist or front-desk administrator
• Warm, professional spoken and written English
• Confident with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Good organisation and multitasking
• Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

• Experience with a virtual phone system
• Familiarity with booking tools such as Calendly
• Previous work with UK businesses
