About the role

For over four decades, Kids on the Move has supported children and families throughout Utah through high-quality, collaborative care. Our team is committed to helping children reach meaningful milestones while creating a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and able to grow.

About the Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home and clinic settings. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will help implement individualized treatment plans designed to build communication, social, daily living, and other meaningful skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in autism services, behavioral health, psychology, education, or child development who wants hands-on experience making a difference for children and families.

Not currently RBT certified? We can support qualified candidates through the certification process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA services to children in home and clinic settings
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect and accurately document data during sessions
  • Help children practice and develop skills through engaging, consistent interactions
  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Communicate with your clinical team regarding client progress and needs
  • Follow professional, ethical, and organizational standards

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification with company support
  • Experience working with children or in a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a clinical team

Schedule

    • Part-time, approximately 7.5 to 20 hours per week
    • Monday through Friday
    • Multiple shift options available between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM
    • Opportunity for additional hours as caseload grows

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay with opportunities for raises and bonuses
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Cell phone stipend
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Support with RBT certification and recertification costs
