About the role

We are IAMGOLD. Innovative, Accountable Mining.

IAMGOLD is a Canadian-based gold mining company with operations and development projects across North America and West Africa. With flagship operations like the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario, one of Canada’s largest and most technologically advanced gold mines, we’re not just mining gold; we’re redefining what mining means for the future.

At IAMGOLD, we believe that when we engage, empower, and support each other, we create extraordinary outcomes—delivering value for our people, partners, and stakeholders while building stronger, more resilient communities.
Recognized as one of the 2025 GTA Top Employers, we offer an environment designed for growth, world-class rewards, cutting-edge development programs, and a culture that values fresh ideas and collaboration.

Our results speak for themselves: ranked 13th on the 2025 TSX30, we’ve proven that performance and purpose go hand in hand. Here, you’ll work on projects that matter, leveraging technology, sustainability, and creativity to deliver impact for our teams, communities, and the planet.

Innovation drives us. Sustainability anchors us. Accountability shapes us.

About the role:

We’re actively searching for two (2) Reliability Technician to join the Côté Gold Mine team, with a start date to be determined, reporting to the Senior Maintenance Supervisor. This role supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs through vibration analysis, infrared inspections, lubrication routes, and oil sampling within the processing plant.

In this role, you support IMG’s purpose by improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime. Your proactive maintenance efforts help enhance operational efficiency, extend asset life, and ensure safe, consistent production performance across the processing plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily maintenance activities by assisting millwrights with equipment alignment, installation, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Perform predictive maintenance tasks including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication sampling, and oil analysis, producing detailed reports and corrective actions.
  • Monitor equipment condition using dashboards and ERP systems, track trends, and generate work requests to address potential issues proactively.
  • Maintain and manage predictive maintenance tools, ensuring proper calibration, inventory control, and readiness for use.
  • Contribute to health, safety, and risk management by supporting procedure development and identifying risks that may impact plant reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise to operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, supporting failure analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and contractors, support development of work instructions, and ensure quality control of maintenance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, proposing innovative solutions, enhancing maintenance strategies, and building technical knowledge and skills.
