Shifts: In general we offer 8, and 12 hour shifts for our Restorative Aide/CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

• Days: 7am-3:30 pm

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to join our team! This position provides direct care to nursing home residents, in accordance with restorative nursing policies and procedures. May help with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Restorative Aide - CNA Assist residents doing progressive range of motion exercises and progressive mobility, to include but not be limited to bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing, and walking.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Assist residents in progressive eating, during breakfast and lunch.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Assists residents in progressive bathing and dressing.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Assists and teaches residents in progressive grooming.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Takes and records vital signs of residents according to facility schedule and policies, and during restorative activities.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Documents and/or reports information regarding the residents’ progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor. This may include participation on committees as needed.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Works closely with the physical therapy department.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Documents all restorative tasks in the electronic medical record
• Restorative Aide - CNA Assures personal and staff compliance to all state and federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Assures personal and staff compliance to residents’ rights.
• Restorative Aide - CNA Provides care in accordance with the restorative aide assignment sheet.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license and be in acceptable standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
