Safety Coordinator

Skillforce is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team on a data center in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Safety Coordinator experience in the construction industry. This position is ideal for a motivated safety professional looking to grow their career while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Pay Range: $40-$42/hr, Based on Experience

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

• Identify hazards and help implement corrective actions.

• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.

• Lead or support daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.

• Ensure employees follow company safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain safety records, reports, and training documents.

• Help coordinate new hire safety orientations.

• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Communicate safety concerns to supervises and management.

• Support compliance with OSHA and client safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must reside in the Nevada area, as the job site is located in Sparks, Nevada.

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a construction safety professional.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
