About the Role

Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support students in school-based settings throughout Aurora, CO. Opportunities include both 1:1 nursing and full school nurse positions. You’ll provide hands-on student care, manage health needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with school teams to support student wellness and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Provide nursing care based on individual student needs and care plans
• Monitor and manage student health conditions, injuries, and illnesses
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
• Support health screenings and student wellness initiatives
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active Colorado State RN license
• School Nursing CDE certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
