Summary

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse and drivers.

• Ensure all Team Members conduct operations in a safe and efficient manner.  Ensure all Team Members areas meet safety requirements.
• Ensuring the implementation of effective safety and environmental systems for the safety of GMI and transportation personnel, equipment and property; ensuring that all areas of the facility and work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Supports in establishing and maintaining work instructions, process procedures and standards for material flow.
• Supports and controls inventory, storage layout and design
• Coordinate audits for Team Member Safety, and process Performance, and supervise training of new Team Members.
• Leading and participating in Kaizen means fostering a bottom-up culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and provides leadership for preventative actions to reduce and/or eliminate waste and quality problems for stored products.
