About the role

Department: Building Science

Lerch Bates is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant to join our Building Science team. This role supports a diverse portfolio of projects spanning building enclosure consulting, repair and rehabilitation, building enclosure commissioning (BECx), new construction consulting, building assessments, forensic investigations, and performance evaluations.

As a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant, you will serve as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and project manager responsible for identifying, planning, directing, and overseeing all aspects of complex building enclosure projects. You will work directly with building owners, architects, developers, contractors, property managers, and project teams to evaluate building performance, develop practical solutions, and deliver high-quality technical consulting services throughout the building lifecycle.

This role combines technical expertise, project leadership, client relationship management, business development, and team mentorship. Successful candidates are experienced building enclosure professionals who enjoy solving complex building science challenges, developing client relationships, mentoring staff, and serving as a technical resource for both clients and colleagues.
