Service Data & Digital Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

We are looking for a motivated Service Data & Digital Solutions Engineer to join our team in Alcobendas to support the digitalization and continuous improvement of our Service o perations.

Working closely with the Service department, you will transform operational needs into practical solutions combining data analysis, business intelligence, programming, automation and AI. These solutions will improve internal Service processes, support better decision-making and ultimately enhance the service provided to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, prepare, validate and analyze data from SQL databases and other business systems.
• Develop SQL queries and datasets supporting Service operations and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain Power BI data models, dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance and Service KPIs.
• Develop and maintain internal applications and operational reports, including solutions based on SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Develop, test and maintain automated workflows, alerts and notifications based on operational events or changes in business data.
• Prepare data and documentation for AI solutions and design, configure, test and maintain agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Understand Service processes and translate business requirements into practical data, reporting, automation or software solutions.
• Collaborate with Service, IT and other internal teams while documenting solutions, data sources and workflows.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Data Science or a related field. Equivalent relevant technical experience will also be considered.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and experience preparing data for analysis or reporting.
• Basic programming knowledge in at least one language and a genuine interest in developing digital solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivation to learn and work across data, reporting, automation and AI.
• High level of proficiency in Spanish and English.

Nice to Have

• • Experience in industrial operations such as food, dairy, beverage, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience analyzing production, maintenance, Service or other operational KPIs.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, DAX or SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate or similar automation and AI platforms.
  • Programming experience with C#, Visual Basic .NET or Python will be valued.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, databases and automated notifications.
  • Understanding of customer service, quotations, order management, invoicing or other Service back-office processes.
