FULL-TIME SKILLED TECHNICIAN

Role at a Glance
Land Rover Hinsdale is seeking a Full-Time Skilled Technician to join our team. Skilled Technicians perform maintenance, inspections, and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning while supporting the overall efficiency and quality of our service operation.
This is an opportunity to work in a premium Land Rover environment with consistent hours, a strong workflow, modern equipment, and opportunities for continued training and advancement toward Journeyman classification.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing routine maintenance services and fluid exchanges
- Completing tire and brake services and other work within classification scope
- Performing pre-owned vehicle reconditioning and internal retail preparation
- Conducting multi-point inspections and documenting findings accurately
- Performing minor inspections and troubleshooting within classification limits
- Resetting electronic systems when permitted
- Supporting OEM campaigns and service needs within classification limitations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicating effectively with the team to support quality and throughput

Requirements
- Prior automotive technician experience required; Skilled Technician, C-Tech, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong technical judgment within classification limits
- Commitment to safety and consistent adherence to SOPs
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the service team
- Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work
