JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a fun, part-time job at the pool? Join our Aquatics team as a Slide Attendant! This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants a consistent part-time schedule. The Slide Attendant is responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
- Monitor the waterslide entrance and help ensure a safe and organized experience for patrons.
- Direct patrons when it is safe to enter and go down the waterslide.
- Enforce waterslide rules, including height and safety requirements.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with children, families, and other patrons.
- Remain attentive and focused while assigned to the waterslide.
- Work cooperatively with lifeguards and other Aquatics staff.
- Assist with other basic pool operations as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years old by the first day of work.
- Friendly, responsible, and comfortable interacting with the public.
- Able to communicate and enforce rules clearly and professionally.
- Dependable and able to remain attentive throughout the assigned shift.
SCHEDULING & PAY
- Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
- Available shifts include:
- Monday: 4:00–8:00 p.m.
- Friday: 4:00–8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
- Applicants must be available to work a consistent schedule of at least two days per week. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the hiring process based on the applicant’s availability and needs of the position.
