About the role
Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club, located in Fairview, TX, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Sous Chef! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations

Supervise, train, and support line cooks and prep staff
-
Ensure all dishes meet quality, presentation, and portion standards
-
Oversee food prep, cooking, and plating during service
-
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
-
Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and reduce food waste
-
Step in for the Executive Chef when needed

Maintain a positive, professional kitchen culture
Qualifications
-
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook
-
Strong leadership and communication skills
-
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Schedule & Environment

Full-time position with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
