About the role

As a Sr. Product Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in managing and advancing the Honeywell Automation portfolio with a focus on Building Management Systems (BMS). You will be responsible for driving product strategy, lifecycle management, and market analysis to ensure our offerings meet customer needs and maintain competitive advantage.

You will report directly to our Product Management leadership, and you’ll work out of our Pune, India location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of Honeywell's automation solutions by shaping product direction, optimizing portfolio performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective building management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute product strategies for the Building Management Systems portfolio within Honeywell Automation. 
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch support, ensuring alignment with market demands and business goals. 
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation and growth. 
    • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction. 
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations to enhance product performance and operational efficiency. 
  • Extensive experience in product management within the building automation or related technology sectors. 
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Honeywell Automation portfolio products. 
  • Proven ability to analyze market data, develop product strategies, and manage product lifecycles effectively. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving product initiatives from concept to launch. 
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies applicable to automation and control systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 

  • Experience in the building automation industry or similar technology domains. 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. 

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams. 

  • Knowledge of agile product development processes and quality management principles.
