About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Program Manager (MANTL) based in the United States.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead complex, client-facing software implementations for banks and credit unions, guiding projects from initial planning through successful launch and adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, helping financial institutions navigate technical requirements, operational challenges, and business objectives. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and delivery teams, you will ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. You will take ownership of project planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement to deliver measurable results. This role offers the opportunity to influence implementation strategies, enhance operational efficiency, and accelerate time to value for enterprise clients. You will join a collaborative, remote-first environment that values accountability, analytical thinking, adaptability, and exceptional customer experiences. The position is ideal for an experienced delivery professional who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment and enjoys building scalable processes that support long-term growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead End-to-End Implementations: Manage enterprise software implementations from project kickoff through launch, ensuring delivery timelines, project scope, and business objectives are consistently met.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies to support successful implementation outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish clear accountability across internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining project momentum and ensuring alignment throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, integration specialists, and delivery partners to coordinate technical activities, resolve dependencies, and streamline execution.
  • Client Advisory and Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, project leads, and operational teams, translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify implementation risks, assess potential impacts, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary to protect project outcomes.
  • Implementation Quality and Client Satisfaction: Ensure a smooth, efficient implementation experience that supports client goals, successful product adoption, and measurable time-to-value improvements.
  • Post-Launch Transition: Coordinate the handover from implementation to ongoing support and account management, ensuring continuity and a strong foundation for long-term client success.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate existing implementation methodologies, identify opportunities for improvement, and introduce scalable processes that enhance efficiency and consistency across the delivery organization.
  • Performance and Continuous Improvement: Independently manage complex implementations, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, balance competing priorities, and contribute improvements that strengthen overall service delivery.
  • Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: At least three years of experience in a client-facing implementation, software delivery, technical project management, or similar role.
  • Enterprise SaaS Implementations: Demonstrated experience leading software implementation projects, managing project lifecycles, and supporting successful client adoption in enterprise environments.
  • Financial Services Experience: Experience in fintech, banking, credit unions, or other regulated financial services environments is required or strongly expected.
  • Technical Collaboration: Experience working with technical teams, including Product, Engineering, and integration specialists, with the ability to coordinate technical dependencies and communicate requirements effectively.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, establish realistic timelines, track milestones, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver results within agreed scope.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to executive stakeholders, technical teams, and operational audiences.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous challenges into structured execution plans and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership and Ownership: A proactive, accountable approach to project delivery, with the confidence to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and maintain momentum in changing circumstances.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, manage competing priorities, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Client Relationship Management: A strong customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build trusted relationships, manage expectations, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments while maintaining execution quality, flexibility, and a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of deposit account opening and loan origination processes within banks or credit unions.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Project Manager, Engagement Manager, Implementation Manager, or in a similar client delivery leadership role.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Jira, or comparable tools.
  • Experience managing implementations for enterprise financial institutions.
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with web application technologies and data formats, including JSON and XML, as well as APIs such as REST and SOAP.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work full-time in the United States, as employment sponsorship is not available.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation: Annual salary range of $112,000–$120,000, based on the published compensation range.
  • Remote-First Work Environment: Work remotely from within the United States, offering flexibility in how and where you perform your role.
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off: Access to an unlimited PTO policy to support flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Retirement Benefits: A 401(k) retirement savings plan with an employer match.
  • Inclusive Workplace Culture: Join a diverse and collaborative environment that emphasizes inclusion, professional growth, and employee development.
  • Career Development: Opportunities to strengthen your expertise in enterprise SaaS delivery, fintech, project leadership, and implementation strategy.
  • Meaningful Client Impact: Help banks and credit unions improve digital onboarding experiences, streamline operations, and deliver better services to their customers.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with cross-functional teams in a technology-driven organization focused on innovation, operational excellence, and customer success.
