Help Lead a Store with a Soul! Store Assistant Manager - Many Hands Thrift

Are you a retail leader who wants more than just a "job"? At Many Hands Thrift, every sale, every donation, and every interaction fuels a greater mission. We are looking for a high-energy, organized, and people-focused Store Assistant Manager to help lead our team and drive impact in our community at our Indianola Store.

You won't just be managing the floor, you'll be cultivating a collaborative environment where staff and volunteers feel supported and customers feel valued. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Leading the Team: Provide support for hiring, training, mentoring and bringing the most out of a diverse group of staff and volunteers. You’ll oversee daily workflows and ensure everyone is set up for success.
  • Operational Excellence: Keeping the engine running by managing weekly schedules, ensuring bank deposits are made, and overseeing the intake and processing of donated goods.
  • Customer & Community Engagement: Building a loyal customer base through top-tier service and managing our Facebook and social media presence to keep our fans engaged.
