THE ROLE

  • Manage the overall procurement cycle – coordinate with production, spares, development programs, and support functions; oversee purchase‑order placement and administration from request through receipt.
  • Support supplier management – help monitor OTD, price variance, and performance metrics; build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Assist cost‑management and negotiations – gather pricing data, draft change orders, and support senior negotiators in discussions of pricing, terms, and conditions to drive cost avoidance and value.
  • Aid the supply‑chain team – prepare bid packages, compile evaluation data, and contribute to supplier‑selection reviews.
  • Maintain data integrity – update contract‑management systems, generate status reports, and provide accurate documentation for audits.
  • Facilitate communication – act as a liaison between suppliers, program engineers, finance, and legal to ensure timely information flow.

Basic Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in Business, Supply‑Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail; comfortable handling multiple contracts and deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication – able to draft clear emails, reports, and simple contract language.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with enterprise contract‑management tools.
  • Collaborative mindset – enjoys working with cross‑functional teams and learning from senior professionals.

Desired Skills

  • 1‑2 years of professional experience (including internships) in procurement, contract administration, or supplier management.
