About the Children's Community Services Program

Our Children's Services program offers mental health services to school aged youth at home, school, or in their community. Our staff have smaller caseloads, are able to see clients one or more times a week, and have flexible schedules. This helps to ensure that a child's services are not disrupted due to transportation or family scheduling concerns.

This includes providing regular supervision to assigned staff and regular collaboration and communication with Program Coordinator(s) concerning staff development.
  • Significant cooperation with internal sources (administration, program coordinators, etc…) and external sources (schools, school districts, managed care companies and all other referral sources), to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve.
  • Manages administrative duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
  • Helps oversee the new referral process to the school-based team and opens/closes charts as necessary.
  • Provides feedback and communicates to appropriate management staff, including Program Coordinator, and, as appropriate, to funding sources.
  • Serves on assigned school district and school based crisis response team.
  • May provide limited face to face contact with clients with diverse characteristics. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting intakes and/or assessments, maintaining a small caseload and/or other client-centered functions necessary to maintain continuity of client care.

  • Experience working embedded full time in a school setting providing case management, therapy, and crisis response.
  • Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
