  • Interface and Interaction Design: Assist development in translating analytical insights into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for desktop and mobile applications.
  • A/B and Usability Testing: Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and qualitative user interviews to validate feature updates before full deployment.

  • Develop UX/UI Policy Manual: Work with staff to incorporate existing knowledge on our UX/UI policies into an up to date manual
  • Design Systems and Consistency: Maintain and expand design system documentation to support accessibility standards (WCAG) and visual brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, UX research, product design, product analytics, or a related digital product role.
  • Design & Prototyping: Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, Auto Layout, prototyping, libraries, and collaborative design workflows. Experience with FigJam or similar collaboration tools preferred.
  • Research: Demonstrated experience conducting usability testing, interviews, journey mapping, research synthesis, and translating findings into product recommendations.
  • Analytics: Experience with platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory, or comparable product analytics and behavioral insight tools.
  • Accessibility: Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2, accessible design practices, keyboard navigation, screen-reader considerations, color contrast, and inclusive interaction patterns.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of responsive/mobile-first design and practical knowledge of HTML/CSS, modern front-end capabilities, and developer handoff processes.
  • Data Literacy: Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
  • AI Literacy: Familiarity with generative AI and AI-assisted research/design tools, including the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, usability, bias, and appropriateness.
  • Communication: Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to clearly communicate design rationale and research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Portfolio: Portfolio or work samples demonstrating UX research, problem solving, design process, prototyping, testing, and measurable product improvements.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Information Systems, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
