Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the IRS trading business across CNY and USD markets.
- Execute trading strategies and manage market risks within approved limits and risk appetite.
- Provide market-making, pricing, and execution support to institutional and corporate clients.
- Drive client flow business through effective trading execution and relationship management.
- Structure and deliver customized interest rate hedging solutions to meet clients' risk management objectives.
- Monitor market developments, macroeconomic trends, monetary policy changes, and regulatory developments impacting rates markets.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Structuring, Risk Management, Operations, and other stakeholders to support business growth.
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to the development of new products and business initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk governance standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNY and USD Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) trading.
- Experience gained from banks, securities firms, or other leading financial institutions is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Solid understanding of pricing, valuation, and market risk management for fixed income and interest rate products.
- Demonstrated ability to generate sustainable trading revenues while maintaining disciplined risk management.
- Strong commercial acumen, market awareness, and business development mindset.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
