About the Role
The Water Quality Technician (ALSS Technician) is responsible in carrying out the assigned routine inspections and service maintenance of the ALSS equipment and facilities in a related field; thus directly impacting the health and safety of animals, colleagues, contractors and guests, and Theme Park’s operations. This position requires standing in a prolonged period; moves/lifts up to 45kgs of load; works with hazardous chemicals and in confined spaces. This position requires working on a shifting schedules, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
GENERAL SCOPE:
Performs routine inspections and maintenance services such as water tests and analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance in a related field
Records accurate data of activities by completing the ALSS checklists and other documents
Assists in the troubleshooting and repairs of the ALSS equipment and facilities
Operates the Life Support System in accordance with the ALSS SOP and manual
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of all chemical drums, storage areas and workstations
Utilizes safe handling, usage, storage, and disposal practices for chemicals, toxic substances and hazardous waste in accordance with the Health, Safety and Environmental policies and ALSS SOPs
Maintains tools, parts, materials and equipment inventory; reports any missing and/or items for replenishments
