About the role
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Pipe Welder experienced in SMAW (Stick) welding to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a full-time, shop-based position with no travel required. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in welding applications within a controlled shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SMAW (Stick) welding on pipe and related components
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy and structural integrity
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Follow all company and shop safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of SMAW (Stick) welding experience
- Ability to pass a 6G SMAW welding test (required)
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and procedures
- Ability to work in a shop environment and perform physical labor
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Pipe welding experience
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes
- OSHA certifications are a plus
- Full-time, stable shop work (no travel required)
