What You'll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you'll perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while delivering the quality workmanship and customer experience expected at Lexus of Dayton.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Test-drive vehicles to diagnose concerns and verify completed repairs
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components
• Communicate repair findings and additional service recommendations with Service Advisors
• Provide accurate repair timelines when additional work is required
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Work closely with the Parts Department to obtain needed components
• Accurately document repairs, diagnostic findings, and completed work
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and professional development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Maintain productivity while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship

What We're Looking For

Required

• 3-5+ years of professional Automotive Technician experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Preferred

• Lexus, Toyota, or other manufacturer dealership experience
• Manufacturer certifications
• ASE certifications
• Advanced diagnostic and electrical experience
