If you’re passionate about hospitality, energized by leading teams, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to meet you!

Why Trademark Venues?

We're a team of people who believe exceptional service begins with supporting one another. We celebrate different perspectives, encourage new ideas, and invest in the growth of every team member.

Our clients come from many cultures, backgrounds, and traditions. We believe the best teams reflect the communities they serve and create experiences where everyone feels welcomed, celebrated, and valued.

If you enjoy collaborating with people from all walks of life and creating experiences that leave lasting memories, you'll fit right in.

About the Role

As an Event Manager, you’ll be the on-site leader responsible for bringing each event to life. You’ll oversee event-day operations, lead and develop team members, build strong client relationships, and ensure every event reflects Trademark’s standards for service, quality, and professionalism.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can think on their feet, navigate changing priorities, hold teams accountable, and create an environment where employees and clients feel supported.

You’ll partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen operations, develop talent, manage risk, and continuously improve the guest experience.

What You’ll Do

Lead Event-Day Operations

  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring timelines, service standards, and operational expectations are met.

  • Anticipate challenges, resolve issues in real time, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and third-party vendors to ensure seamless event operations and compliance with venue requirements.

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk management, and operational consistency.

Develop and Inspire Your Team

  • Provide hands-on leadership, direction, and support to event-day team members.

  • Directly supervise Banquet Supervisors, including coaching, performance management, accountability, and professional development.

  • Recognize strong performance, provide constructive feedback, and reinforce a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure team members understand their responsibilities, follow established procedures, and deliver consistent service.

Deliver Exceptional Client Experiences

  • Build positive relationships with clients and remain attentive to their needs throughout the event.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to exceed expectations and address concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Model exceptional hospitality, ensuring every client and guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Drive Performance and Improvement

  • Review event outcomes, client feedback, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with organizational leaders to improve efficiency, strengthen team performance, and support business objectives.

  • Maintain accurate event documentation and ensure required vendor paperwork and operational processes are completed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years of leadership or management experience; hospitality, events, food service, or a related industry is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach employees, manage performance, and maintain accountability.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented and collaborative approach.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, CRM platforms, and collaboration tools.

  • Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams is a plus.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of eight hours or more.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Current California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, as required for the role.

  • Availability to work event-driven schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
