We are seeking a “Fiber Laboratory Supervisor” for the Chemical Laboratory at Intertek Turkey’s Istanbul office.

• Graduates of university Textile Engineering or related bachelor’s degree programs
• With at least 5 years of technical and managerial experience in the relevant field
• Proficient in international standards related to fiber analysis, capable of applying them and interpreting the results
• Possessing knowledge and experience in the preliminary stages of analysis processes
• Knowledgeable about method verification studies
• Able to effectively use MS Office applications
• Possesses strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Has a research-oriented mindset, is able to take responsibility, and can exercise initiative when necessary
• Is detail-oriented, results-driven, open to learning, and eager to develop
• Is a team player and possesses strong communication skills
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that tasks under their responsibility in the fiber laboratory are performed and completed correctly within specified time frames
• Determine task priorities, maintain work organization, and direct the team
• Facilitate the flow of information and work during daily coordination
• Ensure that tests conducted by their unit are performed in accordance with written procedures, standards, and rules, as outlined in company policy
• Ensure that the laboratory’s technical reliability is maintained in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC17025 standard and the requirements of the active quality management system, and secure the necessary resources.
