About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Integration RPA/Engineer based in United States.

This role combines integration engineering and robotic process automation to connect systems and streamline business workflows. You will design and implement integrations using modern iPaaS platforms, with a strong focus on reliable data exchange and automation. The position involves working with REST and SOAP APIs, authentication methods, data transformation, file transfers, and robust error-handling processes. You will also develop RPA solutions to automate interactions with web portals and other repetitive processes. The role suits a hands-on engineer who can work independently and quickly adapt to new environments. Experience in consulting or sprint-based delivery will be valuable in this fast-paced technical setting.

Accountabilities:

    • Design, build, test, and maintain integrations using iPaaS platforms such as SnapLogic, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
    • Develop REST and SOAP integrations using authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and API keys.
    • Implement data mapping and transformation processes to ensure accurate and consistent information exchange between systems.
    • Configure SFTP and AS2 file-transfer integrations while ensuring secure and reliable data movement.
    • Build robust retry, exception-handling, and error-management logic to improve integration reliability.
    • Develop and maintain RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate for portal automation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration and automation requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
    • Work independently with minimal onboarding and deliver integration and automation work within short-term or sprint-based engagements.
    • Develop email-parsing and ingestion pipelines where required to automate the capture and processing of incoming information.

      • Requirements:

      • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with an iPaaS platform, with SnapLogic or MuleSoft strongly preferred.
      • Experience with Boomi or Workato is also considered relevant.
      • Strong practical experience building REST and SOAP integrations, including OAuth/API-key authentication, data mapping, and transformation.
      • Experience implementing SFTP or AS2 file-transfer solutions and designing retry and error-handling mechanisms.
      • Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate, particularly for portal automation.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding and quickly become productive in unfamiliar technical environments.
      • Prior short-term consulting or sprint-based project delivery experience is preferred.
      • Experience building email-parsing and ingestion pipelines is a plus.
      • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with a practical and delivery-focused approach.
