About the role
Department/ Unit: Department of Sports Science and Physical Education
Closing Date: Until the position is filled
For Lecturer, applicants should have (i) preferably a relevant doctoral degree/ terminal degree in physical education and sports science or related discipline with teaching/ professional experience; or (ii) a relevant Master’s degree plus at least 4 years' post-Master’s degree teaching/ professional experience. For Assistant Lecturer, applicants should have a relevant Master's degree. Preference will be given to applicants who contributed to the theoretical aspects of physical education, exercise science, and sports coaching.
The appointee will (a) primarily teach major ball games, other physical activities and theoretical courses; and (b) assist in teaching practice and internship supervision.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
