Eau Claire Golf and Country Club, located in Altoona, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Lifeguard! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

• Monitors swimmers and pool activities to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Responds to minor injuries and medical situations using approved first aid procedures.
• Supports general cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, bathrooms, and pool facilities.
• Assists with swim clinics and private lessons as scheduled.
• Applies pool rules and conduct guidelines with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Performs basic pool maintenance, including chemical checks and vacuuming, as assigned.
• Reviews first aid supplies and requests replenishment when needed.
• Helps organize and supervise pool activities and games.
• Removes debris from the pool surface and surrounding areas as needed.
• Assists with end-of-day pool area organization and preparation.
• Maintains required records in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Practices safe and responsible work habits.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience preferred.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and applicable Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.

• Dependable availability during the pool season.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
