We Pay the Most Because We Expect the Most.

Starting pay is $28-$33 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities to earn customer tips for exceptional service.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA/FSA and paid time off. You'll drive late-model automatic trucks, work local routes, and be home every day.

What You'll Do

As a Local CDL Driver, you'll safely operate company vehicles while leading or supporting moving crews on residential and commercial relocation projects. You'll load, transport, protect, and deliver customers' belongings with care, maintain all required DOT documentation, and represent Schroeder Moving with professionalism on every job.

This is a hands-on role. If you're looking to sit behind the wheel all day, this isn't the position for you. If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and taking ownership of your work, you'll thrive here.

What It Takes to Succeed

Successful candidates have valid CDL, a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to reliability and teamwork. Experience in moving, delivery, logistics, warehousing, or transportation is preferred. Most importantly, we're looking for people who lead by example and take pride in doing the job the right way.
