Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of pastry items according to recipes and hotel standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper sanitation practices.
- Help in inventory management, including stocking and sorting ingredients.
- Participate in daily prep tasks, including measuring, mixing, and baking.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely production and presentation of desserts.
- Learn and adapt to various pastry techniques and presentations.
- Support the team during busy service times and handle any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in pastry.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
