About the role

The Staff Physical Therapist is our resident Autumn Mobility Architect & Leaf-Crunching Captain. You will help residents build strength, master balance, and stay steady on their feet so they can safely enjoy crisp fall strolls and seasonal festivities!

Core Responsibilities

  • Movement Magic: Evaluate residents, craft personalized rehab plans, and teach essential fall prevention strategies to keep everyone upright when the leaves start dropping.

  • Squad Leader: Supervise PT Assistants, aides, and students; coach Restorative Aides; and collaborate with docs, nurses, and families to toast every recovery milestone.

  • Record Keeping: Keep medical records crisp, compliant, and current in PointClickCare or Net Health before grabbing a warm cider.

  • Gear Specialist: Recommend top-tier equipment (walkers, canes, grab bars) to keep residents navigating the cozy season with maximum independence.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s required).

  • Licensure: Active state PT license in good standing (plus CPR certification, if applicable).

  • Skills: Tech-savvy, sharp problem solver, and an upbeat communicator who brings warm, encouraging energy to the facility.

Physical Demands & Vibe

  • The Workout: Hands-on, active role involving plenty of movement, bending, and heavy lifting (50–100+ lbs) to safely assist and transfer residents.

  • The Atmosphere: Low-to-moderate noise, a warm and welcoming team environment, with reasonable accommodations available to keep everyone thriving all autumn long.

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 / hour PRN

This fall, trade ordinary for extraordinary and join a team that values your expertise, dedication, and passion for resident care.
