Plant Coordinator - Days

The starting pay for this role is $18.50 per hour

The shift for this role will be: Sunday - Tuesday (alternating Wednesdays) from 7am to 7pm

Summary: Responsible for supporting plant and warehouse operations by receiving, tracking, transporting, and staging ingredients and packaging materials, operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, adhering to GMP and compliance requirements, and collaborating with team members to ensure safe and efficient production processes.

Essential Duties:

• Support the plant in accounting for packaging and ingredient usage. Support the Warehouse on daily receiving.
• Possess a high degree of initiative and flexibility along with the ability to multi-task, accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork.
• Deliver mixing ingredients via truck from dry goods area to processing plant
• Pick and palletize ingredients, moving to truck using a forklift
• Use the team approach in dealing with other supervisors and peers within the facility and respect the decisions made by them.
• Practice GMP’s and support audits, inspections and compliance
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must have valid drivers license
• Prefer knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse plant operations and procedures
• Must be able to use a lift truck, electric and manual pallet
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be highly proficient in MS Office specifically Word and Excel
