About the role
This is a Contract up to 18 months.
Our Human Resources Operations Division is looking for a forward-thinking, inclusive Senior Advisor, HR Digital Engagement to shape employees’ HR experience in a modern, digital-first environment. Reporting to Manager, HR Services, you will lead the strategy and evolution of HR’s digital ecosystem, from intuitive intranet experiences to seamless self‑service content and knowledge resources, ensuring employees can easily find what they need, when they need it. As a key driver of HR’s digital transformation, you’ll design experiences that boost adoption and embed change directly into HR platforms, moving beyond traditional communication approaches. Working closely with HR leaders, technology partners, and enterprise communicators, you’ll establish standards and governance that ensure consistency and quality across every HR touchpoint.
This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, analytical and collaborative professional to help accelerate HR’s shift toward a modern, integrated, self‑service model that empowers employees and enhances their everyday experience.
Why should I join?
If you are a high achieving, experienced, motivated HR trailblazer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the credibility to be a trusted HR partner; have the confidence to challenge the status quo and the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time, then this amazing opportunity is for you!
Metrolinx is committed to helping our leaders achieve their goals through continuous learning, professional development, and support.
What Will I Be Doing?
Establish the design, management and governance of frameworks that ensure HR digital properties are accurate, intuitive, integrated, and in support of HR’s shift towards a modern, self service operating model.
Establish and maintain quality standards for digital content, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational messaging and branding.
Develop, create, and govern HR digital communications, including articles, announcements, emails, guides, and multimedia content for digital platforms, embedding change principles directly in digital models.
Ensure HR digital resources and knowledge libraries are structured and maintained in a way that supports future AI integration, such as chatbot functionality and automated employee support tools. This includes organizing content for easy retrieval, tagging, user-friendly structure and machine-readability.
Champion a user-centric, experience design approach to HR digital resources, gathering feedback throughout the employee lifecycle, and from usage data to inform ongoing improvements.
Drive adoption and engagement with HR digital platforms, promoting a positive and seamless employee experience.
Enable HR’s evolution to a digital, self‑service ecosystem by leading change management strategies that prioritize employee experience, usability, and adoption of HR platforms, tools, and workflows across the employee lifecycle.
Partner with HR product owners, Executive Offices, and Enterprise Communications to align digital enablement initiatives with enterprise change agendas—ensuring technology, processes, and experience design are integrated rather than communications‑led.
Monitor and analyze usage metrics, engagement levels, and feedback to measure the effectiveness of digital communications and resources.
Provide recommendations for enhancements based on data-driven insights and best practices in digital communications and employee experience.
Build collaborative relationships with HR stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal communications partners to ensure high-quality, relevant content.
Influence and guide others in the division (without direct reports) to contribute to and uphold digital communications standards.
